How do I get out of my timeshare?
My husband and I were swindled into buying a timeshare/deed 4 months ago. We haven't even made a single payment yet and now realize the mistake we made. We are past the cooling off period and the company will not buy it back from us. We do not want to resell, we just want out. What should we do?
You can go to a timeshare transfer company aka timeshare relief company. For a fee, they'll transfer the timeshare out of your name forever. You won't have to be responsible for the maintenance fees or special assessments.
