How do I get rid of my ex-girlfriend name from my timeshare?
My husband bought timeshare in early 2000 and ex-girlfriend's name is still on the deed. She paid half of the monthly payment for the first 3-4 months and cease to contribute further for the last many years.
Now, that the time share is fully paid for, he would like to remove her name from the deed. Is it possible? If so, how do we go about doing that in California?
We have avoided her all these years as she's a difficult person to deal with.

You will need a quitclaim deed from her signing her share to him. Perhaps you can use an attorney as an intermediary to contact her. I agree with the poster who said it will probably cost you some money.
Good lesson to learn here - be careful who you put on a deed of any kind.
